Updated in 2012: The Vario now uses the Ortlieb QL3 mounting system. A QL3 mounting bracket is installed on the rack. The pannier snaps into the mounting bracket. The pannier back has no protruding hooks and may be attached or removed from the rack with a single hand. See the video below for details.
The inner main compartment is 100% waterproof featuring a roll down lid. It’s wide enough to fit your 15.4 inch laptop with ease, along with any files and your lunch you’re bringing with you. It features an inner pocket inside of the main one to keep you organized.
The outer zippered pocket is designed to hold the backpack attachment system when the Vario is mounted to your bike.
