The Bike Shopper is a single pannier that is similar to a single BackRoller Classic Pannier. The major differences are that is has a ziplock-like closure, the available colors, and the handle straps snap down to the bag.
The Ortlieb QL2 system allows fast and easy single-handed mounting and removal of the Bike Shopper. Simply lift the top handle to remove the bag from the rack.
The same goes for attaching it: the QL2 hooks on the top of the bag can be slid forward and backwards, so that the bag can be positioned anywhere on the rack without requiring any tools. It is suitable for racks with a tube diameter up to 16 mm (hook inserts for diameters of 8 and 11 mm are included). There is also a fully adjustable hook at the base of the panniers to secure them tight to the rack, so it won’t flop around. I’ve never experienced or seen an Ortlieb pannier fall off a rack while its properly installed. The QL2 system has the advantage that it works with the Ortlieb pannier lock cables.
The PVC fabric with which these panniers are constructed is incredibly durable and completely waterproof.
