Brooks B17 Titanium

The B17 Titanium saddle is a fancier version of the B17 Champion Special. The B17 Titanium saddle comes with titanium rails, mid-sized copper rivets and a chamfered edge on the skirt.

Why titanium? Titanium is a silver colored metal that is both strong and lightweight. In fact, it has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal. This results in a saddle that is 22% lighter than a B17 standard. This makes the B17 Ti the best leather bike saddle to when weight savings matters most.

As with all Brooks leather saddles, it takes a few rides to break in, in the neighborhood of a hundred miles. You’ll find that it becomes more comfortable with each ride you make on it.

To protect the leather, we recommend treating the saddle with Proofide, Brooks’ own saddle oil. You can find this on our website under accessories. This will keep it protected if it gets a little wet and aid in the break-in process.

Note that Brooks includes both a rain cover and tensioning wrench with the B17 Titanium, so no need to order an extra.
