For 2009, Ortlieb has introduced these amazing recumbent panniers. Made with a mix of PVC-coated polyester and Cordura, they’re just as durable and waterproof as Ortlieb’s Packer Plus model panniers but are shaped to work ideally with a recumbent.
They attach using the quick release QL2 system (just like the Plus model panniers) so you can get them on and off with just a pull of the handle. The QL2 system has the advantage that it works with the Ortlieb pannier lock cables .They come with an extra long lid for easy access to your items. They have large reflectors to keep you highly visible on the road, and come with a padded shoulder strap so you can take them with you when you’re off the bike with ease. The panniers have a water bottle holster and a zipped mesh pocket on the outside of the bag.

They work great with Ortlieb’s Recumbent backpack too!
